YEAR OF THE ROOSTER
Parnell Businesses Celebrate Chinese New Year
Flamboyant Roosters & the art of Ray Ching and Shen Ming Cun
Following on from the success of last year’s mischievous monkeys, Parnell Business Association has curated a unique exhibition of rooster art pieces that will be exhibited in Parnell before being auctioned off on Thursday the 16th of February, with proceeds going towards the Starship National Air Ambulance Service.
Over 35 artists, including ARTIS Gallery’s Anah Dunsheath, Nicky Foreman, Elizabeth Rees & Zena Elliott, and a few celebrities have joined in the fun by creating a range of flamboyantly flashy rooster art pieces.
This unique exhibition will showcase the life-sized rooster sculptures over the two weeks of Chinese New Year in various Parnell galleries and select retailers before being auctioned off.
