John Weeks New Zealand (1886 – 1965)
John Weeks was one of New Zealand most popular painters during the 1930’s and 40’s. From 1930- 1954 he taught at Auckland’s Elam School of Art where his tutorage focused on personal discovery and exploration of medium was hugely influential on artists like Louise Henderson and W. S. Wallis.
